President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the spring conscription of citizens for military service and the discharge of military personnel who have served the established terms into the reserve. The corresponding document was published on March 14, 2025, on the TDH website.

According to the decree, the discharge of military personnel who are serving by conscription and have served the required term into the reserve will be carried out in the period from April to June 2025.

During the same period, from April to June 2025, the next conscription of male citizens of Turkmenistan aged 18 to 27 who do not have the right to exemption or deferment from conscription will be carried out.

This Decree shall enter into force from the moment of its official publication.

The decision to conduct regular spring and autumn conscription of citizens for military service and the discharge of previously discharged military personnel into the reserve is made in Turkmenistan in accordance with the Constitution of the country and the Law "On Military Duty and Military Service". These events are planned and aimed at ensuring the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.
