International book fair with participation of Turkmenistan opened in Minsk
14.03.2025 | 04:15 |On March 12, the XXXII Minsk International Book Fair opened in the capital of Belarus, with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus being one of the active participants. Until March 16, guests and residents of Minsk will be able to see exhibits from 20 countries, including the CIS and EAEU states. Diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus also presented their national pavilions.
The Turkmen Embassy has prepared a rich program, centered on the presentation of the books by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Magtymguly – Thinker of the World” and National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Hakyda – göwheri”. The exhibition also features an exposition of traditional Turkmen costumes, demonstrating the rich heritage of decorative and applied arts.
The literary part of the Turkmen stand includes works by the head of state, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, as well as classics of Turkmen literature, whose works, translated into many languages, introduce the depth of Turkmen culture and its spiritual values.
Visitors to the Turkmenistan pavilion will be able to learn more about the country through book publications, experience the unique flavor of its culture and better understand the mentality of the people.
Participants and guests of the exhibition expressed hope for the continuation of such cultural exchange and the development of international cooperation.
