Asia leads in the number of multinational corporations at the Dubai International Chamber in 2024
05.03.2025 | 13:30 |The Dubai International Chamber has reported that 62.7% of the multinational corporations attracted to Dubai in 2024 originated from Asia.
Latin America and Europe each accounted for 11.8% of the total number of multinational corporations attracted in 2024. The Middle East and Eurasia contributed 9.7%, while the African continent and Australia each represented 2%.
Five key sectors constituted 50% of the multinational corporations drawn to Dubai by the Chamber in 2024.
These include: Construction; Trade and Logistics Services; Manufacturing; Information and Communication Technologies, encompassing artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain, and software; and Retail, Fashion, Travel, Hospitality, and Tourism.
8% of the multinational corporations specialize in the mobility sector, including aerospace, space, autonomous transport, and traditional transportation.
Three other sectors—Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals; Finance, Banking, and Investment Banking; and Energy, including oil and gas, renewable energy, and clean technologies—collectively comprise 18%.
The Chamber has also expanded its global presence by opening two new international offices in Kazakhstan and Colombia, thereby increasing its total number of representative offices to 33.
