 Ashgabat to host exhibition celebrating 75th anniversary of Artist David Arushayans

Today, in the Central Exhibition Gallery of the Department of Art Exhibitions and Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, with the support of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, a creative exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the artist David Arushayans begins its work. The exposition will feature about 100 paintings and graphic works of the artist such as "Pomegranates", "Expectation", "Mother", "Old Man", "Thoughts", created by him in different years.

David Arushayans was born in 1950 in the Mary velayat (region) of Turkmenistan. He graduated from the Shota Rustaveli Turkmen State Art School (now the Turkmen State Special Art School) in 1970. His first solo exhibition was held in Mary in 1982, and in 1977 he was welcomed as a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan. His work has also been featured in numerous international exhibitions.

The exhibition's opening is scheduled for 4:00 PM today and will remain open to the public until March.
