A Technology Park for Artificial Intelligence will be created in Tajikistan in partnership with the UAE

The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan and the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) of the UAE held a video conference to discuss prospects for partnership in the field of artificial intelligence. The event was attended by the heads of the two agencies, the leadership of the Artificial Intelligence Council under the Ministry of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of ATRC divisions, including the Technology Innovation Institute and the VentureOne holding from Abu Dhabi.

The main areas of cooperation were identified as the development of a national language model, the improvement of multimodal solutions and the attraction of Emirati technology companies to the artificial intelligence technology park in Dushanbe. It is planned that a model adapted to the linguistic and cultural features of the Tajik language will be developed based on Falcon technologies. This will allow the introduction of digital services in the Tajik language, including voice assistants, automatic translation and educational platforms.

The ATRC global research and technology development platform will support the launch of products from CNTXT, a company specializing in cloud and digital transformations, and VentureOne in Central Asia with a base in Area AI in Dushanbe. The Artificial Intelligence Technology Park in Dushanbe will become the first specialized platform for introducing advanced AI solutions into the region's economy. The entire AI ecosystem will be developed here, including a regional AI self-regulation center for Central Asia.

VentureOne will commercialize technologies and help Tajik enterprises integrate innovative products in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data and cloud solutions. The development of the technology park will contribute to attracting foreign investment and accelerate the digital transformation of various sectors of the economy.

During the negotiations, the parties expressed confidence that this partnership will become the engine of digital transformation in Tajikistan and strengthen its position as an AI technology center in Central Asia. It was noted that the next step includes the creation of a working group for detailed project planning. Cooperation with ATRC has become an important stage in the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan, opening access to advanced innovations and forming a sustainable technological base for the development of the country.
