Educational institutions of Turkmenistan and the USA discussed the use of land in urban planning
10.02.2025 | 16:13 |The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and Kent State University (USA) held an online conference on the topic "Density-based design: a conversation about additional housing". The meeting was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and Kent State University (USA).
During the conference, Patrick Hewitt and Rachel Novak from the Cuyahoga County Planning Department, Eric Zumft, Director of Planning and Development for the City of Cleveland Heights, and Tommy Chesnes, Senior Architect at OnyxCreative, shared their experience in the field of architecture, construction and design.
Participants discussed the use of land in urban planning, proper housing planning, the impact of population, social and economic problems on urban planning, as well as solving environmental problems.
This consultation will provide ample opportunities for the exchange of experience in the implementation of projects that fully meet the needs of the population.
