Intelligent transport systems will be implemented within the framework of the EAEU
The implementation of intelligent transport systems (ITS) is planned within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), marking an important step toward the creation of a unified information space for carriers.
The concept aimed at improving the interaction of ITS among the member countries was approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission. The implementation of this concept will allow carriers to receive standardized information about weather conditions, potential traffic jams, and road accidents, significantly enhancing the safety and efficiency of transport operations.
Intelligent transport systems will contribute to the rational distribution of loads on infrastructure and improve the functioning of national transport complexes. In the context of dynamically changing transport flows, ITS play a key role in optimizing logistics and increasing responsiveness to changes in road conditions. This will also create conditions for closer cooperation between the EAEU member states in the field of transport infrastructure.
