Turkmenistan’s Ministry of labor publishes 2025 work calendar
04.01.2025 | 13:05 |Turkmenistan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has published the 2025 work calendar on its official website. The calendar calculates work hours for different schedules:
- Five-day, 40-hour workweeks with 8-hour workdays,
- Six-day, 40-hour workweeks with 7-hour workdays,
- Six-day, 36-hour workweeks with 6-hour workdays.
In 2025, Turkmenistan will observe 12 non-working public holidays:
- January 1 – New Year’s Day
- March 8 – International Women’s Day
- March 21-22 – National Spring Holiday
- March 30 – Oraza Bayram
- May 18 – Constitution and State Flag Day of Turkmenistan
- June 6,7,8 – Kurban Bayram
- September 27 – Independence Day of Turkmenistan
- October 6 – Remembrance Day
- December 12 – International Day of Neutrality
In accordance with Article 61 of Turkmenistan’s Labor Code, work hours on the eve of these holidays will be reduced by one hour.
