Training course for Turkmen diplomats held at the UAE Diplomatic Academy
20.12.2024 | 13:15 |From December 9 to 12, a training course for faculty and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) in the United Arab Emirates. The course, organized with the support of the UAE Embassy in Turkmenistan, focused on diplomatic training in the fields of politics, culture, and economics of the UAE.
As part of the program, participants attended lectures by experts on various topics, including the history and culture of the UAE, climate change, foreign policy, and the country's economy. The course opened with a lecture by His Excellency Dr. Saeed Al Shamsi, followed by presentations from Mustafa Bayoumi, Obaid Al Dhanhani, and Dr. Sara Chehab.
An important part of the program was a series of excursions to historical and cultural landmarks in Abu Dhabi, such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Presidential Palace, Qasr Al Watan. The students also visited the National Oil Company ADNOC, where they learned about the prospects for trade and investment relations between the UAE and Turkmenistan.
The course deepened participants' knowledge of the political, economic, and cultural life of the UAE, and also contributed to the development of intercultural communication and diplomatic protocol. Participants expressed their gratitude for the organization of the program and confirmed their intention to continue cooperation in the fields of education and diplomacy.
