Turkmenistan's exports to Uzbekistan grew by 11.3 % in 9 months of 2024

Thus, Turkmenistan ranked 6th in the top ten trade partners of Uzbekistan for the first nine months of this year. At the same time, most of the trade turnover was made up of deliveries of Turkmen products to the neighboring country.
That is, Turkmenistan's exports to Uzbekistan rose to $780.6 million, which is 11.3% more than in 2023.
On November 20-21, Turkmenabat, Lebap will host an exhibition of Uzbek goods and an interregional forum of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
A national exhibition of Turkmen goods ‘Made in Turkmenistan’ was successfully held in Tashkent on 15-16 July this year.
Recently, the transport departments of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan agreed to introduce a system of electronic exchange of permit forms “E-Permit” in order to speed up freight transport between the two countries.
