Oriented on making people closer

A competition for the "Greenest School" and "Greenest Kindergarten" has been announced in Turkmenistan.

The competition is held in order to implement the policy of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on greening the country, involving the younger generation in environmental protection activities. It is also designed to instill a love of nature in schoolchildren and kindergarten pupils.

The competition is held in three stages. The first stage will be held at the etrap and city level from November 14 to 15.

The winners of the first stage will participate in the velayat round of the competition, which will be held on November 21-22 in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag.

The best of the velayat rounds and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag will meet in the final. The final is scheduled for November 28-29.

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to prepare a photo album or video recording that reveals the activities on landscaping the educational institution and the surrounding area, planting trees and ornamental plants. The submitted works must also demonstrate the observance of cleanliness in the educational institution and beyond.

The jury of the competition will evaluate the activities on the education of environmental culture in children, the activities on involving the parents of pupils in the activities on landscaping kindergartens and schools. The design of a specialized circle will also be taken into account.

The winners of the competition will be awarded with certificates of honor and valuable gifts.
