On Wednesday, July 31, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Minsk Nazarguly Shagulyev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov.

During the meeting, specific steps were discussed to expand and deepen Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres, and to maximize the potential for interaction in the fields of education, culture, science and technology.

“The parties paid special attention to the issues of the next intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the two countries,” the diplomatic mission noted. The diplomats also discussed the schedule of upcoming mutual meetings and visits, and issues of improving commodity distribution networks in the territories of the two countries.
