Oriented on making people closer

During the period from June 25 to 26, 2024, the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations B.Gochmollaev, took part in Japan in a meeting of international participants of the World Expo – 2025 exhibition, dedicated to preparations for the upcoming event next year in Osaka. The main topics of the meeting were organizational aspects of the exhibition, including the preparation of national pavilions and event planning.

On the sidelines of the event, members of the delegation of Turkmenistan met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Japan Association of Organizers of EXPO – 2025 Ichinoki Manatsu.

Continuing the meeting, issues of construction and preparation of the Turkmenistan pavilion, as well as upcoming plans and tasks related to the organization of the exhibition were discussed. The Japanese side expressed gratitude to Turkmenistan for the effective organization of work and completion of all tasks on time, noting the high level of the country’s preparation for participation in EXPO – 2025.

In addition, as part of the visit, members of the Turkmen delegation visited the site of the upcoming exhibition, located on the island of Yumeshima, and got acquainted with the progress of construction of the National Pavilion.
