IT specialists urge the authorities of the states to unite to combat cybercrime
16.05.2024 | 11:57 |In order to ensure Internet security, it is necessary to strengthen international cooperation, the participants of the press conference agreed on the results of the session "Cybersecurity of the Future: towards digital immunity", which took place on May 15 as part of the business program of the XV International Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum".
Representatives of the IT sector noted that the forum is an effective platform for establishing collaboration and sharing experiences.
"The fact that the topic of cybersecurity is being discussed at the Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum forum is very important, since representatives of many countries participate in it and there is an opportunity to exchange opinions and reports not only through official channels and platforms," said Anna Kulashova, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab in Russia and CIS countries.
Director General of Cybersecurity Malaysia dato Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab noted the importance of cooperation in the field of security both domestically and internationally, because no company is able to withstand cyberattacks alone.
Ruslan Abdikalikov, Chairman of the Information Security Committee of the ICRIAGP (Kazakhstan), expressed the opinion that it is necessary to adopt a "comprehensive" document at the UN base, which will talk about the responsible behavior of each state in cyberspace.
"The global Internet space is built in such a way that no country in the world, no response group, no matter how powerful, can independently protect themselves from threats in cyberspace. This can only be done through joint efforts," Abdikalikov said.
