The ferry "Bagtyyar" of the Ro-Pax type "Bagtyyar" of the Merchant Marine of Turkmenistan set off for the first flight this year from the port of Turkmenbashi to the port of Olya on April 10 from Turkmenbashi to the port of Olya. There are 40 trucks with a trailer on board the ferry, filled with food.

"This flight is an important step in the development of trade relations between Turkmenistan and Russia. It demonstrates the capabilities of JSC "Merchant Marine" for the transportation of perishable goods with timely delivery to the destination," the press service of the fleet noted.

They also added that, compared with land-based modes of transport, ferry service reduces the delivery time of goods and is a more economical option compared to air transportation.
