Oriented on making people closer

The 300th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi is widely celebrated in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. In both neighboring countries, cultural and educational events are organized dedicated to the study and wide popularization of the rich heritage of the Turkmen classic, as well as its role and contribution to strengthening friendship, spiritual closeness and interaction between the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples.

And on March 2, Saturday, an unusual creative event will be held in Ashgabat - a festive concert called “Remembering Teachers.” It is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan together with the Turkmen individual enterprise “Sanly Khasap”. The musical show will take place in the Vatan cinema and concert hall.

As the Uzbek embassy told about this concert, the promising Turkmen artist Izzat Movlyanov will perform songs and compositions of famous Uzbek singers and composers - Sherali Zhuraev, Okhunjon Madaliev, Komilzhon Otaniyozov, Bobomurod Khamdamov, Khurshid Rasulov and others. Among the works that will be performed at the evening, a special place is given to works written on Magtymguly’s poems.

The organizers of the event invite all fans of Magtymguly’s work to enjoy the high style of the folk genius, the penetration of his immortal lines, which inspired and inspire both famous Uzbek musicians and young ones.
