Turkmenistan Airlines has announced a discount on the first flights on the Ashgabat-Kuala Lumpur-Ashgabat route, which will start on February 15. The discounts will be valid until March 30, 2024, according to the national air carrier’s website.
And there is a good reason for travel lovers to take advantage of the discount period to visit Malaysia. This is a country where there are many kilometers of white sandy beaches, hundreds of beautiful islands, thousands of hectares of tropical forests that are millions of years old, unique geoparks, including those under UNESCO protection, colorful cities and villages, a multinational society where people live in peace and harmony. representatives of various nationalities, affordable hotels and a well-developed service system with many high-tech entertainment complexes.

Take the island of Langkawi alone! In 1987, the Malaysian government declared the island a duty-free shopping destination, which marked the beginning of its economic growth and prosperity. And soon the island, inhabited mainly by fishermen and peasants, turned into a world center of tourism. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been invested in the island's economy, with much of this money going towards the construction of hotels and the development of the tourism sector. The further development of Langkawi's tourism infrastructure is focused on the luxury segment - for this purpose, the construction of 5- and 6-star hotels, diving and SPA centers, yacht clubs, etc. continues on the island with truly paradise landscapes.

At the same time, “budget” tourism is also well developed in Malaysia, and ordinary residents of cities and villages are actively involved in “economy class” services, who set aside a special area in their homes for foreign guests. This is the so-called tourism with “immersion” in the traditional life and atmosphere of the country’s indigenous population.

And all this is very organically integrated into the hospitality industry, the first line of which is rightly well-trained personnel - from customs officers, immigration officers, guides, hotel workers to salespeople in stores. Therefore, tourists everywhere here will receive a friendly welcome, friendly smiles, polite communication and quality service.

Turkmenistan is also a very promising outbound tourism market for Malaysia. In particular, Malaysian tourists will be interested in such segments as historical excursions to the cities along the Great Silk Road and cities with cultural monuments, as well as trips to the exotic desert for Malaysians.
