Oriented on making people closer

In the coming year, Turkmenistan will host two important international forums in the field of culture, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly, whose work enriched the treasury of world culture. These are a summit in October, which is expected to be attended by heads of government, and an international conference in May, which will bring together culture ministers.

Turkmenistan also organizes various cultural events related to the anniversary of the classic of oriental literature in different parts of our planet, including countries such as the USA, Russia, Great Britain, Japan, Korea, Germany, Spain, Romania, etc.

These are scientific forums and educational competitions, weeks of creativity and literary evenings, theatrical performances and film screenings, etc., Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov said at a government meeting on Saturday.
