Special Envoy of Chinese President Xi Jinping, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, First Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang will visit Turkmenistan at the end of November to participate in the 6th meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee. This was stated during a briefing by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning.

According to her, the Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China will visit Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan from November 26 to 30 to participate in the 11th meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese cooperation committee and the 6th meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese cooperation committee.

The 5th meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese cooperation committee was held in November 2021 in the format of a video conference. As a result, bilateral documents were signed, including the Cooperation Program between the governments of Turkmenistan and the PRC for 5 years (2021-2025).

On October 18 of this year in Beijing, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang on the sidelines of the III High-Level Forum "One Belt, One Road".
