Young boxing stars will perform at the IBA World Championship in Yerevan

A total of 57 countries have decided to send their 15- and 16-year-old talents to the IBA Junior Boxing World Championship. Among them: Afghanistan, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, according to the website of the Asian Boxing Confederation.
The final will be held on December 3, and a total of 26 champions will be crowned in Yerevan.
On November 3, the Asian Boxing Championship among Youth and juniors ASBC ended in Astana, Kazakhstan. Turkmenistan has one gold medal, 2 silver and one bronze in junior competitions and one silver and two bronze in youth competitions in the medal standings at this tournament.
All national federations will have many opportunities to prepare for the first World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Tournament, which will begin in Busto Arsizio, Italy, on February 29, 2024.
Before that, Serbia, Hungary, England, Spain, Sweden, Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina will host preparatory tournaments from January 14 to February 14.
