Popular pop singer Elena Oreshkina has a double anniversary this year. She decided to celebrate with a solo concert, which will take place on October 14 in the capital’s Turkmenistan cinema and concert hall. The “Autumn Waltz” program will present the audience with the performer’s original songs, timeless and favorite hits of Russian and Soviet composers, as well as the best romances.

Half a century on stage, dozens of songs written, hundreds of concerts and music awards - this is all Elena Oreshkina, whom fans and listeners know as “the girl with the guitar.” It was with this instrument that she first appeared on stage at the age of 10, participating in a school ensemble. Later she mastered the six-string guitar, began to accompany herself independently, and visited almost every corner of Turkmenistan with a concert program, as well as at music venues in different countries.

Elena Oreshkina is a graduate of the vocal department of the Turkmen State Music College named after Danatar Ovezov and a certified economist. Moreover, these seemingly radically opposite specialties in life have always been with the singer. And, of course, original songs. From a young age, she began writing music and words, and for her song compositions about the friendship of peoples, she was awarded an award from Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov. In addition, she is a laureate of the Youth Union of Turkmenistan award and a laureate of the music competition “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!”

Elena’s repertoire includes many songs of her own composition about Ashgabat and Turkmenistan. Her music is filled with sincerity, and a light touch of urban romance makes her compositions emotional and unforgettable. Guests of the “Autumn Waltz” concert will be able to listen to these and other works performed by the pop singer, as well as enjoy a show program with the participation of dance groups “Mahirli” and “Caucasus”.
The evening starts at 19:00 in the Turkmenistan cinema and concert hall. Tickets can be ordered by calling: +99362 937441; +99364 037456; +99364 127042.
