The French Institute in Turkmenistan invites residents and guests of the capital to spend their Saturday evenings enjoying intellectual games. In partnership with the country’s Chess Federation, the Institute announces the opening of a new chess season. The first club meeting will take place on May 9.
The main feature of the club is its openness. The organizers aim to make chess accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
For experienced players: it is a platform to exchange experience, find worth opponents, and explore new strategies.
For beginners: mentor support is provided. Even if you have never held a chess piece before, you will be guided through the rules and helped to take your first confident steps in the game.
Atmosphere and Rules
Club meetings are not just about sport, but also about a special atmosphere of mutual support and enthusiasm. Knowledge of French is not required, and all meetings are held in an informal setting.
When and Where?
Club meetings will take place weekly on Saturdays at 6:30 PM, and participation is completely free.
The launch of such a club is a great opportunity for city residents to discover a new hobby and develop analytical thinking in a friendly environment.
