Seven musicians of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan led by conductor Rasul Klychev participate in the Georgian festival for the second year in a row and arrived in Tsinandali on August 11. Immediately upon arrival, they passed a selection audition for distribution on the consoles of the Pan-Caucasian Orchestra. Two young musicians - Dovran Gylydzhov (trombone) and Selbi Mulkamanova (violin) will play at the first console of the lineup following the results of the "exam". By the way, they are also the “first violin” and “first trombone” in the Turkmen state orchestra. For 20 days, classes and master classes were held in the music laboratories and the international academy of music, created in the Tsinandali estate, where rehearsal passions were in full swing. Young "students" were engaged in their groups - string players, wind players, percussionists, and famous and leading musicians and conductors from around the world, who had specially arrived at the Georgian estate in Kakheti, worked with them as teachers and mentors.

  • The brass group was "supervised" by several teachers. I was very impressed by the famous Hungarian trumpeter Tamas Davida. He shared with us the secrets and subtleties of performing art on brass instruments. He taught proper seating and behavior on stage, how to work with breathing, because this is a very important moment for wind players. At the same time, he found an approach to each of us, saw the strengths of the musician and helped to develop and strengthen these qualities, - Dovran Gylyjov, a participant in the Tsinandali 2023 festival, told Orient.

The group of violinists was coached by Kirill Terentiev, a laureate of international competitions, worked as an accompanist at the Mariinsky Theater, and currently performs with a German orchestra.

Eminent musicians "pumped" young artists, for whom master classes and rehearsals became the best musical educational program. Classes were held during the day, and in the evenings the “teachers” arranged solo concerts for their wards.

– Here we got the opportunity to work with the most famous performers and musicians appearing at the best concert venues in the world. Coaches succeeded each other, and each gave valuable skills and knowledge that will help us in our further professional growth. And solo and general concerts with their participation have become a real gift for us. We not only got the opportunity to listen to the performances of great musicians, but became part of a unique and large-scale musical project, - violinist Selbi Mulkamanova shared her emotions.

Punk-Caucasian orchestra, which will also include seven Turkmen musicians will perform tomorrow at the opening of the festival. The ensemble will perform Tchaikovsky's fourth symphony, and Gianandrea Noseda, the legendary conductor from Italy, will conduct. Yefim Bronfman, a well-known Israeli and American pianist, a native of Tashkent, will also perform at the concert.
