Turkmen musicians will perform at the anniversary V International Festival in Tsinandali
25.08.2023 | 00:01 |The opening of one of the largest academic music festivals in Georgia - Tsinandali Festival, will take place on August 31 at the historical estate of Prince Chavchavadze in Tsinandali (Kakheti). The fifth anniversary festival is also attended by seven young Turkmen musicians from the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of conductor Rasul Klychev. Some of them came to Georgia for the second time and there are debutants among them, who in February of this year passed the most difficult selection audition, which was conducted in Ashgabat by Claudio Vandelli, one of the most promising Italian conductors of the new generation and co-author of the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra.
A specially created commission - conductors, composers, world-renowned musicians conduct a musical examination and selection among the strongest young musicians of the participating countries - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Great Britain, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Ukraine and Turkmenistan. The best and most talented performers get into the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra.
Over the years, the historic Tsinandali estate has gained the status of a center for cultural exchange and accumulation of human and intellectual experience. The elite of the music world comes here and world stars perform. In the jubilee season, the organizers promise the public a special program and a bright line-up of musicians. Concert programs will be performed by such famous conductors as Gianandrea Noseda, Manfred Honeck, Vakhtang Kakhidze, Christoph Konts, as well as virtuoso soloists Efim Bronfman, Tsotne Zedginidze, Nobuyuki Suji, Alexander Malofeev and others.
The Georgian Festival is known for its diverse program, including classical music, opera, ballet and modern productions. This fall, the debut of the famous Puppet Theater Rezo Gabriadze is expected. The troupe will present the play "Autumn of my Spring". And concerts of the famous violinist David Garrett, who masterfully performs classical music, combining it with folklore, rock, jazz and country, are planned in the Tsinandali Amphitheater.
The Tsinandali Festival aims to create unique opportunities for young musicians to explore the world of music and promote their musical education through professional seminars and master classes conducted by some of the brightest names in modern classical music. The training takes place at the International Music Academy, which was established in the estate as part of a project in Tsinandali.
Now young people are taking lessons from masters and luminaries on how to stay on stage, properly present themselves, and also master the subtleties and nuances of performing art. There are only a few days left before the start of the performances.
The opening of the festival will take place on August 31 and from that day the most interesting and unique concert programs and performances will begin in the estate, which will run until September 10. Both the musicians and the audience are excited.
