A regional trade promotion portal will be launched in Central Asia

On May 17, a press conference will be held on the occasion of the launch of the regional trade facilitation portal Central Asia Gateway and the export and international trade training program of the Ready4Trade Central Asia Project. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Trade Center (ITC).

The Unified Trade Facilitation Portal is a Central Asian gateway to support investment, competitiveness and trade in the region and is aimed at eliminating non-tariff barriers. It contains rules and procedures for cross-border trade, which are published on the national online portals of trade promotion of the countries of the region.

In turn, the cross-border management training program is a free training program designed for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in Central Asia who are interested in entering new markets in the region and beyond.

Trainings are conducted both online and by national institutions within the framework of seminars in partnership with the ITC. The course in Russian covers current topics on trade, ranging from the export process, market analysis, compliance standards and international logistics, to specific rules.

Online courses are available in each of the five Central Asian countries on a special national web-based learning platform developed by the ITC. Each course takes about 4 hours to complete.

Earlier in Turkmenistan , with the support of Ready4Trade , there was a launching of a national trade information portal designed to help small and medium-sized businesses find information necessary for the export, transit and import of products.
