Oriented on making people closer

The Mayor of Almaty highly appreciated the handicrafts of the Turkmen people during a visit to the exhibition-fair dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, at which the pavilion of the "Turkmen Socio-Cultural Center" of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan was presented.

The pavilion, decorated in the national style, presented Turkmen carpets, costumes, embroidery, musical instruments and photographs of picturesque places to visitors, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in the neighboring republic reports.

The event was attended by Turkmen students studying in Kazakhstan. They told the guests about the national peculiarities of Turkmen culture and introduced them to the color of traditional men's and women's costumes.
