Oriented on making people closer

China has officially published The Global Security Initiative Concept Paper, China daily reports.

The document notes China's firm determination to protect global security. The initiative contains six key principles of global security designed to eliminate the root causes of international conflicts, stimulate international efforts to ensure stability and global development.

China has also identified 20 priority areas for international cooperation in the field of global security. In particular, support for the key role of the UN in security management; promotion of dialogue for the peaceful resolution of acute issues; effective response to traditional and non-traditional security challenges; continuous strengthening of the global security management system and capacity building.

The initiative in the field of global security was put forward in April last year by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the opening of the Boao Asia Forum.
