Turkmentelecom, the national telecommunications company in Turkmenistan, has reduced internet tariffs for rural areas. New tariffs are published on the company’s website.
In accordance with new tariffs, the monthly-unlimited internet tariff with speed of 512 kbps for residents of Turkmen villages costs 120 manats per month.
This is while in the Turkmen cities, the price for unlimited internet with the same speed remains at 200 manats per month. In addition, a speedier and more expensive internet tariff will be available for urban subscribers – 2 Mbps at the rate of 350 manats per month.
At the same time, City Telephone Network has launched new tariff plans for subscribers to connect to unlimited home Internet.
In Ashgabat city, 256 kbps Internet connection will be offered at the rate of 190 manats per month; 512 kbps connection will be available at a monthly rate of 200 manats; 1024 kbps will be available at 300 manats per month and 2048 kbps at a monthly rate of 350 manats.
