Oriented on making people closer

Representatives of the Administration of the State Supervision of Shipping in Turkmenistan under the "Turkmendenizderyollary" Agency took part in a training on the topic "Inspection of vessels in operation". The event was held in Aktau, the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the French Classification Society Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore sas (BV).

During the training, the participants got acquainted with several conventions in the field of maritime transport adopted by the International Maritime Organization. They were also familiarized with various measures and methods to ensure the safe navigation of ships and the prevention of environmental pollution, the rules of their practical application.

In order to consolidate theoretical knowledge and gain practical skills, the procedure for performing ship inspection was demonstrated at the seaport of Bautino.

According to the results of the training, the Agency's specialists were awarded the relevant certificates in the direction of "Inspection of vessels in operation".

The "Turkmendenizderyollary" Agency and the Classification Society of the French Republic Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore sas continue to actively cooperate within the framework of the Agreement on the provision of authority to perform services for the inspection of vessels registered in Turkmenistan.
