Filipino American R'bonnie Gabriel became the owner of the title "Miss Universe 2023", RIA Novosti reports
The award ceremony was held in New Orleans, USA. In total, candidates from 86 countries took part in the competition. Only 16 girls qualified for the semifinals.
Gabrielle is engaged in sewing eco-friendly clothes and runs a company that produces clothes under her own brand. At the final fashion show, her dress was embroidered with 8 thousand rhinestones and crystals.
The second place in the competition was taken by a participant from Venezuela, Amanda Dudamel, and the third — Andreina Martinez from the Dominican Republic.
