"Under this contract, oil will be extracted from an area of 4.5 thousand square kilometers in the northern provinces of Sari-Pul, Jauzjan and Faryab," Mujahid said.
According to the statement, the Chinese company CPEIC will invest $ 150 million in this project this year. According to the contract, the share of the Afghan authorities will initially be 20%, and in the future it will increase to 75%.
Mujahid added that about three thousand citizens of Afghanistan will work in the project.
