Turkmenistan is ready to gradually expand the range of training for the national economy and high technology in the higher schools of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. This was stated by Chairman of the Upper House of the Turkmen Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, speaking at KazanSummit 2022.

The head of the People's Council noted that today about 5,000 Turkmen students receive higher education in Tatarstan, and the republic has a powerful scientific-production potential.

Also, in the framework of XIII International Economic Summit Russia - the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesha met with Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov.

At the meeting, the development of trade and economic cooperation was discussed, promising projects with the participation of Russian business, implemented in various sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, were considered.
