The new administrative center of Ahal region of Turkmenistan will have an automated gas monitoring and metering system. The international tender for its development and implementation was announced today by the state concern "Turkmengas".

A modern digital system will provide the ability to remotely collect and transmit data from meters, analyze and store the received data, and automatically calculate the cost of services.

Gas consumers in a smart city will not need to count and transmit information about gas use, an automatic system will do it for them.

The unified system is able to ensure the accuracy of measurements of gas supplies to consumers, quickly detect interruptions in operation or gas leakage, increasing the safety of using natural gas in homes and industrial enterprises.
