Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the projects of future power lines of Turkmenistan
During a working trip to the Dashoguz region, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented with new projects for the development of the country's electric power industry.
The head of state got acquainted with the sketches of projects of international power lines:
– the section from the Mary State Power Plant to the HPP "Vatan" of the TAP power line,
– lines from the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif to Kabul, TAP power lines,
– power line from the Mary hydroelectric power station in the direction of Herat-Farah-Kandahar and through Afghanistan to Pakistan,
– Power transmission line Mary-Mashhad with a capacity of 500 kilovolts,–
– Power transmission line Mary-Serakhs-Mashhad with a capacity of 400 kilovolts.
Also, the Turkmen leader was shown sketches of power transmission lines within the country:
– Balkan-Dashoguz with a capacity of 500 kilovolts and a length of 560 kilometers,
– Akhal-Balkan with a capacity of 220 kilovolts and a length of 421 kilometers,
– Akhal-Mary with a capacity of 220 kilovolts and a length of 380 kilometers,
– Dashoguz-Dashoguz with a capacity of 220 kilovolts and a length of 25 kilometers,
– power transmission line in the direction of power plants "Serdar", "Kaakhka", "Tejen".
It was reported that the Akhal state power plant was transferred to combined management.
Berdimuhamedov also got acquainted with the project of the first combined solar-wind power plant with a capacity of 10 megawatts, which will build Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
