Pakistan for the early completion of the TAPI gas pipeline project -Alvi

This is what Pakistani President Arif Alvi said at a meeting with Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov. The meeting was held at the official presidential residence of Ayvan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Monday.
Alvi assured Pakistan's commitment to the early completion of the TAPI gas pipeline project and stressed the importance of regional interconnectivity and economic integration, saying the two countries should join forces to expand these processes, Associated Press of Pakistan reports.
At the meeting, it was proposed to create a committee in the framework of the Joint Working Group for the early completion of the TAPI pipeline. The President congratulated the high-ranking guest on the successful holding of the 17th Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and expressed the hope that this would help to secure international support to resolve the growing crisis in Afghanistan.
Arif Alvi mentioned his recent visit to Turkmenistan and said that he had a very fruitful meeting with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and both sides stressed the need for an early completion of the TAPI gas pipeline project.
