President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Monday held a meeting with heads of regions of the country during which he heard reports of the head of capital administration Rahim Gandymov and deputy-chairman Charymyrat Purchekov.
The basic maintenance of the report of deputy-chairman Purchekov included issues of preparation of objects of power energy system of the country for the cold season of 2021-2022. Berdimuhamedov gave the deputy-chairman assignments to hold control over the uninterrupted and qualitative power supply of population, socially significant objects and as a whole economy in the period of maximum loading on the country’s power supply system.
In turn, the mayor of Ashkhabad in the report, in particular noticed that these days works on completion of erection of the monument to the great Turkmen poet-thinker Makhtumkuli, hotel "Garagum" and square "Erkin" ("Free") are conducted.
Deputy-chairman Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev who supervises the agrarian and industrial complex, and governors of all five regions, reported to the head of the state on the state of agricultural sphere of Turkmenistan as a whole and in areas accordingly.
The Turkmen leader gave deputy-chairman Orazgeldiyev and heads of regions whom he supervises, instructions on increase in rates of winter wheat sowing and introduction of the advanced agro-technologies of cultivation of potato, other vegetables and gourd crops.
In addition to it, governors of Balkan and Mary regions were assigned to strengthen attention to cultivation of sugar beet (used basically for sugar manufacture), and Dashoguz and Lebap regions - rice (by the way, the most amazing pilaf is cooked from the rice which has been grown in these territories).
Separate instructions were given to heads of regions in connection with the building of social and industrial projects, improvement of conditions of life of peasants and other social and economic aspects of development of territories.
