The President of Turkmenistan gave strict reprimands to Deputy Chairman, Secretary of the State Security Council Charymyrat Amanov and Minister of Internal Affairs Ovezdurdy Khojaniyazov.

Strict reprimands to the given heads were announced at the meeting of the State Security Council on Monday where results of activity of law enforcement and military bodies for past 9 months of the year were discussed. It was also informed in the evening release of news of TV channel «Altyn asyr».

Berdimuhamedov during the meeting pointed out to shortcomings made in the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the head of the department and in this connection, the minister was given a reprimand in which formulation it is said: «for inadequate fulfilment of his duties, the shortcomings made in his work».

«For inadequate fulfilment of his duties» and for «slackening of the control over the activity of subordinated establishments» the President declared reprimand to deputy-chairman of the government, secretary of the State Security Council.

In both cases, strict reprimands were accompanied with «final warning of correction of the admitted shortcomings in the shortest terms».
