China records historic high of 697 mln cross-border trips in 2025

⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠China recorded a historic high of 697 million entries and exits in 2025, up 14.2 percent year on year, the National Immigration Administration said on Wednesday.

Among them, 82.035 million were made by foreign nationals, surging 26.4 percent from the previous year.

Notably, visa-free entries reached 30.08 million, accounting for 73.1 percent of all foreign arrivals and marking a year-on-year rise of 49.5 percent.
