In southern China's Guangdong Province, a well-developed consumer electronics supply chain has supported the emergence of a wide range of smart terminal products for global markets. Chinese smartwatches and smart toys are now sold in more than 170 countries and regions.
In Shanghai, intelligent sensing has become a major area of industrial development. LiDAR systems and 3D printers are seeing strong demand in international markets, helping accelerate the global development of intelligent driving and digital manufacturing.

In the first half of 2026, China's exports of laser rangefinders used in intelligent driving systems increased by 58.3 percent, while exports of 3D printers surged by 109.3 percent.
Meanwhile, exports of AI-powered intelligent bionic robots exceeded 10,000 units. Intelligent handling robots and welding robots also continued to expand into global manufacturing markets, with exports of both types growing by more than 60 percent.
