The horses from Turkmenistan arrived in St. Petersburg
Ten Great Circus horses from Turkmenistan arrived in the Big St. Petersburg State Circus to participate in the show “On the Fontanka” from May 24 to 27. This event is timed to the City Day and the 140th season of the St. Petersburg circus. These days, the artistic collectives from Russia, Turkmenistan, China, North Korea, Ukraine, Germany, Portugal, Belgium and other countries will be represented at the famous arena. As reported by the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor (The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision) for St. Petersburg, Leningrad region and Pskov region, the “live cargo” from Turkmenistan passed veterinary control. The inspectors did not find any violations; also, there were no problems with enclosed documents. “The consignment of the Rosselkhoznadzor-controlled cargo was accompanied by a veterinary certificate of an established form, drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the law,” the department commented.
