As reported by CCTV+, on Thursday Beijing hosted a special job fair for university graduates, offering more than 20,000 positions both online and offline. The Beijing graduate job fair was held as part of the nationwide employment campaign "Guopin Action," co‑sponsored by China Media Group, the Ministry of Education, the State‑owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and five other government agencies.

Since its launch in 2020, the Guopin Action campaign has brought together over 140,000 well‑known companies, offering more than 13 million vacancies and receiving over 88 million CVs. Over 4,000 online and offline recruitment events have also been organised across the country.

The Beijing fair is part of a major state initiative to support youth employment. Launched in 2020 amid the pandemic, the Guopin Action has since become a key channel for graduate recruitment. Its distinctive feature is the involvement of both large state‑owned enterprises and private companies. Over 13 million vacancies in five years and 88 million CVs speak to the platform's high demand. In 2026, with a new generation of graduates entering the job market, the focus is on digitalisation and flexible formats.
