Young Turkmen champions played the first games at the World Chess Championship
in Batumi (Georgia). Twelve of the best chess players of Turkmenistan (6 girls and 6
boys) participate in the age categories from 8 to 18 years. The tournament is held
with the rapid time control regulations, i.e. each player is given 15 minutes with 10
seconds for each turn.

The capital of Kazakhstan will host the Asian and Oceania Sambo Championship in 2023. Competitions will be held from June 7 to 11 at the Beeline Arena among adults, juniors and juniors, boys and girls, as well as masters.
