Athletes from Turkmenistan will take part in the International All-Style Karate
Competition IX EurAsiaCup, which will be held from October 13 to 15 in
Sterlitamak (Russia).
The Turkmenistan national football team won the first match at the training camp, defeating the team
from the first division of the UAE championship "Dubai United".
The Turkmenistan Wushu Cup has ended in Ashgabat, where medals were awarded in different weight categories and disciplines. The winners of the cup received the right to represent the country at the World Wushu Championship, which will be held in November in the USA, writes IIC.
Turkmen athletes won four medals – two gold and two silver – at the World Cup in traditional karate,
which was held in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. This was reported to the ORIENT correspondent
in the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the country.
The conference of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has ended in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), which
brought together the chairmen and general secretaries of the AFC member associations and regional
associations. The conference was also attended by the President of the International Football Federation
(FIFA) Gianni Infantino.
The national football team of Turkmenistan, which is on a training camp in the UAE, intends to hold two
friendly matches against the clubs of the highest Emirati league.
On Sunday evening, the closing ceremony of the XIX Asian Games was held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, where the results of the sports festival were summed up and the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia was handed over to the next host city - Nagoya in Japan.
