The joint nomination of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan "Silk Road: Zarafshan-Karakum Corridor", including 31 ancient monuments, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The city of Arkadag is preparing to host its first film festival. The creative forum "Arkadagyň şäheri" will bring together cinematographers from Central Asian countries and will be held on October 14-15.

In the center of Moscow on Red Square in the Main Department Store (GUM) the exhibition “The Silk Road” opened. The capital's trading house introduces guests and city residents to the natural and cultural attractions of Central Asia and thus participates in a project to popularize intercultural and creative ties with neighboring countries, the GUM press service reports.

The International Book Festival Kitaptime was held in the capital of Kazakhstan, which brought together publishers, writers and readers from different countries. The International Festival of Culture and Art "Gorkut Ata" and a film forum with the participation of cinematographers from Central Asia and TURKSOY will be held in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha. From October 8 to 12, Shusha – the cultural capital of the Turkic world-2023 will turn into a creative platform and a large cinema hall, where film producers from around the world will show their best pictures.
