Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, October 16, 2024 – In a significant boost to Turkmenistan's agricultural sector, the country's largest almond producer, Hemsaýa, obtained the prestigious GLOBALG.A.P. certification in September 2024. This achievement, supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), marks a major step forward in aligning Turkmenistan's farming practices with international standards.

Chairman of Halk Maslahaty congratulated the distinguished guests on the awarding of the jubilee medal “Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna” and exchanged views with them on interstate relations.

On Friday, 11 October, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Iran, Pakistan and Armenia. The head of the Turkmen state expressed gratitude for the invitation to participate in the international forum commemorating the 300th anniversary of the poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi and discussed cooperation issues with them.
