The heads of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs Administration of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a meeting on 28 August during the working visit of the Turkmen delegation led by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Tehran.

As part of the upcoming Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2024), a significant parallel event is scheduled to take place, featuring a session of the Joint Expert Group of the UN and the Government of Turkmenistan. The focus of the meeting will be the development of an Integrated National Financing Structure (INFS) to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Turkmenistan. This event will bring together representatives from key government agencies, international organizations, and experts to discuss pathways and strategies for effectively achieving the SDGs in the country.
