Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed on the date of the next, 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The first meeting of the subcommittee on transport and logistics cooperation of the China-Turkmen Cooperation Committee was held in Beijing on Thursday, November 16. The Turkmen delegation at the meeting was headed by Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, Mammetkhan Chakyev. The delegation also included representatives of the agencies of railway, air, road, water transport and the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan.

From November 28 to 30, 2023, the international exhibition of modern food production technologies "Agro-Pak Turkmenistan - 2023" will be held in white marble Ashgabat for the first time. The event is organized jointly by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Turkish company "Sofuar".

On Monday, November 13, during trading at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, aviation kerosene “TS-1” ($814.25 per ton), Portland cement “PS 400-G20-K” ($37.50 per ton) and gray cotton half panama fabric (0.39 per sq.m.) were sold on the foreign market.

On the eve of the World Day of Sustainable Transport, the Railway Agency of Turkmenistan announced an impressive reduction in the transit time of goods through the territory of the country. Thanks to the establishment of multimodal logistics and the improvement of rail transportation, the speed of cargo delivery from one border to another has increased by 40%.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent the draft State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2024 for consideration to the Mejlis, signing the relevant document during a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday.

Turkmenistan's GDP growth in January-October amounted to 6.3%. The same indicator is for the volume of products produced in the country in comparison with the same period in 2022 – more by 6.3%.
