On May 28, the Russian Ethnographic Museum in St. Petersburg will host a large-scale holiday "Carpet World" dedicated to the Day of the Turkmen Carpet, celebrated annually in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday of May.

UNESCO will take part in the celebration of 46 anniversaries in 2024-2025, initiated by Member States at the 216th session of the Organization's Executive Board. The list of memorable dates will also include the “300th anniversary of the birth of the poet Magtymguly Fragi”, presented by Turkmenistan.
