The name of the brilliantly talented composer Nury Halmamedov has firmly entered the history of professional music of Turkmenistan as the creator of a unique individual style that combines the traditions of Turkmen folk music and composition techniques of the 19th and 20th centuries. The III meeting of the International Association “Turkmen Alabai” was held on Friday in Ashgabat. Members of the Association, heads and specialists of specialized structures and higher educational institutions became participants of the forum dedicated to the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai. Young French conductor David Yurpo will give a concert in Ashgabat on November 4 and will conduct the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan.
