A name in Turkmen music: TNC gives a concert dedicated to the 90th anniversary of composer Durdy Nuryev
In the history of Turkmen musical culture, the name of the composer Durdy Nuryev occupies a prominent place. He entered the world of professional music in the 1960s and left a rich legacy of genre diversity: these are songs and romances, small-form plays and concerts for various musical instruments, operas and ballets, symphonic and vocal-symphonic works, music for films and performances, choral and chamber-instrumental compositions. Among his works are the opera "Fiery Hearts", ballets "Nisa" and "The Good Sorceress", musical comedies "Guncha" and "Hopeless Love", symphonic compositions "Karakum Canal", "Our Youth", "Seidi", concerts for piano, accordion, trumpet, flute, gidzhak and bass-dutara, music for the films "The Road of the Burning Van" (ashamed with the composer Chary Nurimov), "The Quiet Daughter-in-law" and "Through the cities of Turkmenistan" and others.
